HOME IN ST. ANN'S BAY

This project is situated on a shorefront property overlooking a section of the Bras D’or Lakes on Cape Breton Island, NS. The house has a traditional ‘front’ that contains a visitor washroom, bedroom, as well as an entertainment space overlooking the bay and an extensive green roof. The lower level is the main living area and will be ‘earth sheltered’ to the north with a green roof. As well, all rooms in this area of the house face south and overlook the Bay. The house has been designed ‘off the grid’ with net zero energy use and will follow LEED for Homes.
