DALHOUSIE LEGACY CENTRE MASTER PLAN
In 2014, root architecture was hired to create a Master Plan for the Dalhousie Legacy Centre within an accelerated timeframe. Working alongside a theatre design specialist, we met with multiple stakeholders to finalize the building program as well as discuss relationships within the building and to the surrounding campus. The overall budget for the project was $55 Million and included a variety of faculties within Dalhousie and several community groups involved in the performing arts around the HRM. We presented our design to the group of Community Stakeholders, Dalhousie Planning and Faculty Staff. After extensive consultations, we were able to present the final layouts with no changes to our original design.
